Garden

Eco Garden.

In 2019, a large vegetable garden was created adopting the sustainable techniques and methods used by the monks in the 12th century. The garden is divided in six different areas where aromatic plants, flowers, fruits or more than 90 vegetable varieties are currently grown. The flavorful produce enhances the menus of all the hotel's restaurants including the Vinoteca small-plates wine bar, the Cloister Garden restaurant, and the One-Michelin-Star Refectorio restaurant.

Calicata stands for Abadía Retuerta's new project available during the summer season. A magical place to better understand the distinctive traits of this land, Castilla y León, and its wines. A terrace overlooking the Abadía Retuerta's pine forest and vineyards.

During the summer nights, our culinary offer at Vinoteca moves to the Cloister Garden (Jardín del Claustro) offering guests the opportunity of enjoying a gastronomic experience in a unique environment: an outdoor terrace laden with history.

Refectorio

Refectorio, the Michelin-starred restaurant recently awarded with the Green Star by the Michelin Guide. Under a vaulted ceiling of pure Gothic style, a 17th century frieze depicting the Last Supper presides over the imposing space. A perfect blend of tradition and avant-garde, based on contemporary creative techniques.

Vinoteca Restaurant

Vinoteca Restaurant offers a traditional and exquisite cuisine. The menu features a diverse selection of dishes, tapas and small plates made from the high-quality ingredients produced in the region, enjoyed with the noble Abadía Retuerta wines. This small, inviting restaurant with a wine cellar atmosphere infuses tradition with creative twists.
